M.I. Hummel Century Collection Figurines and ClocksIn 1986 Goebel introduced the M.I. Hummel Century Collection. This collection eventually consisted of 14 limited edition items - 12 figurines and 2 clocks. Each year a new piece was introduced which was retired at the end of that year. Due to the limited production runs the figurines and clocks from this collection are generally quite valuable when still in mint condition. In addition items from the Century Collection tended to be rather large and featured very intricate designs - both of which added to their allure and cachet. The final piece in the collection was issued in 1999.
