Jay Strongwater has been designing beautiful jewelry and a myriad of other wonderful collectibles since he was a young college student. His career began when he designed a necklace for his mother which caught the eye of the owner of a local boutique. He began promoting his creations to other stores and soon had orders from esteemed stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue. His popularity continued to grow and eventually he began designing jewelry for Oscar de la Renta to use in his fashion shows. As years passed he continued to design new pieces which continued to be well received.
In 1994 Jay began to experiment with his now world-famous picture frames fashioned from jewelry. In recent years he has moved into creating a wide array of beautiful home decor items. These include figurines, boxes, glass items and clocks. He also continues to design jewelry including charms and pins. Collectors the world over greatly admire his unique vision.
