Weller PotteryWeller Pottery was founded by Samuel Weller in 1872 in Fultonham, Ohio. A small operation in the beginning, Weller initially produced vases, bowls, flower pots and crocks. In 1895, Weller Pottery acquired the Lonhuda Pottery company. Weller began to produce Louwelsa, one of Weller's most popular lines. The Louwelsa line grew to include over 500 different shapes of bowls and vases. Over the years Weller introduced many different lines which proved to be very popular. These lines included Sicard, LaSa and Hudson. Weller also created many patterns which continue to be celebrated by collectors. Some of these patterns include Blue Drapery, Warwick, Aurelian, Louella, Glendale, Eocean, Knifewood and Etna. In 1948 the company went out of business ending a rich history of beautiful art pottery. Here at The Prudent Collector we are pleased to help you find the best prices on Weller pottery of all types and patterns.
