Chapel Time was the first M.I. Hummel clock produced by Goebel. It was released as a limited edition in 1986 and once the year ended production ceased as it was part of Geobel’s Century Collection. Chapel Time was designed by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek. Several variations of the clock exist with the main differences being the chapel windows. The most prevalent version has all of its windows closed and painted except for the tower’s belfry windows. The rarest variation has all of the windows closed and painted. Goebel has stated that this version resulted from a pre-production run that produced somewhere between 800 and 1000 clocks. All variations of Chapel Time are 11-1/2″ tall and are marked with the TMK-6 trademark.
