Swarovski Crystal Society FigurinesSome of the most coveted Swarovski crystal figurines are those which are created for members of the exclusive Swarovski Crystal Society. The Swarovski Crystal Society (often abbreviated as SCS) was founded in 1987 and over the years they have offered a number of exquisite figurines which are made available exclusively to society members. There are four categories of SCS figurines - annual editions, limited editions, jubilee editions and commemorative editions. The production of Swarovski Crystal Society limited editions is restricted to just 10,000 individually numbered figurines. In addition a lottery is held for society members and only the lucky winners of this lottery are allowed the privilege of purchasing that year's SCS limited edition figurine. Swarovski annual editions and jubilee editions on the other hand are only available for a year before being retired but are made available to all society members during their year of production. Swarovski commemorative editions are an exception to the society's usual rules as they are made available to all collectors whether they are a member of the society or not.
