Lladro Collector's Society And Privilege Figurines
The Lladro Collector's Society was founded in 1985. Those who belonged to the society were allowed the privilege of purchasing exclusive pieces which were made available only to registered members. This collection would eventually grow to consist of a number of limited editions, premiums and annuals (time limited editions). The very first annual Lladro Society figurine was the now famous and highly coveted "Little Pals" #7600 figurine which depicted a clown with a poople puppy in each of his pants pockets. Over the next 15 years Lladro issued several other Society figurines which proved to be quite popular with society members and collectors. In 2001 the LCS series was superseded by the Privilege line of figurines. These have also proven to be a hit with Lladro porcelain collectors.
