The Marta Hewett Gallery in Cincinnati, OH is holding the region’s first live auction of museum quality works of contemporary studio glass at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb 6.
“Objects of Note: An Auction of Contemporary Glass” will feature approximately 40 works by glass artists including Dale Chihuly, Martin Janecky, Dante Marioni and Hiroshi Yamano. Values of the blown glass works range from $1,200-$25,000.
The auction preview is being held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. today and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at 1310 Pendleton St. (adjacent to the Pendleton Art Center), Over-the-Rhine.
