Trabucco Studio was founded by the acclaimed glass artist Victor Trabucco in 1974 in the picturesque town of Clarence, NY. Initially inspired by witnessing an artist’s demonstration of creating a glass sculpture, it suddenly dawned on Victor that his life’s purpose would be to create glass art. Animated by this creative insight he quickly set to work developing the technical skills necessary to bring his artistic vision to life. Soon afterward he founded his studio and went to work, eventually bringing his two sons David and Jon Trabucco into the family business to work along his side.
The small family studio soon gained widespread acclaim for their uniquely beautiful art glass sculptures and paperweights. Trabucco art glass is primarily inspired by Victor’s love for nature and his desire to translate nature’s beauty into the medium of glass. The studio’s striking glass works have been exhibited in some of the world’s most renowned museums including the Corning Museum of Glass, the Royal Ontario Museum, the American Glass Museum, and the Chicago Art Institute. Victor’s work has inspired countless other artists and his studio’s creations are consistently in high demand among discerning glass collectors.
