15th Annual Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show

April 10, 2010 – Magnificent antique jewelry and gems will be showcased by more than 300 nationally and internationally renowned dealers at The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show during Jewelry Week in Las Vegas. The four day show opens June 3-6, 2010, at the MGM Grand, one day before the JCK Show.

Dealers will exhibit rare and unusual historical antique and vintage pieces, gemstones, jewelry and watches from famous brands including Cartier, Rolex, Tiffany’s, Harry Winston, Patek Philippe and Van Cleef & Arpels. Much of the merchandise available is signed and many pieces have extensive provenances detailing previous ownership by celebrities or royalty.

Here is some information about just a few of the rare items available at the show:

B&R Trading, based in New York City, will display an amazing 7.34 carat pigeon blood Burmese ruby and diamond ring.

Jacob’s Diamond & Estate Jewelry, based Los Angeles, is featuring a rare late Victorian Brooch, circa 1900. It is mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, featuring amethyst, carved ivory, diamonds and pearls.

Joden World Resources, based in Grove City, Pennsylvania, exhibits a beautiful platinum pendant with a carved coral cameo, two natural pearls and diamonds.

McTeigue Since 1885, based in New York City, is showcasing a magnificent Art Deco with 13.86 carats of square sapphire and 8.40 carats of baguette diamond bracelet in a platinum mounting.

Morelle Davidson, based in London, will display a breathtaking 18 karat yellow gold plique-a-jour diamond and emerald dragonfly brooch.

Provockative Gems, based in New York City, is featuring a wonderful diamonds and gemstones bracelet.

Robin Katz Vintage Jewels, based in New York City, represents an exquisite 22 karat gold hinged cuff bracelet consisting of plaques depicting Greek symbols in relief, possibly the mythological Phoenix and Lyre, in a beautiful muted palette of multi-colored enameling, circa 1970’s.

Summerfield’s Unique Antique & Fine Jewelry, based in Beverly Hills, has a gorgeous large gold and multi-colored sapphire locket, circa 1890. The locket is engraved with Peony flowers, some inset with round sapphires of assorted colors, total weight approximately 3.00 carats. The locket measures almost 2 inches in diameter.

Yafa, based in New York City, is showcasing a stunning pair of 18 karat gold, diamond, emerald and sapphire earrings. They are signed Van Cleef and Arpels.

Show hours are from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday, June 3, through Saturday, June 5, and 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 6. A one-time admission of $15 is valid for all four days of the show.
