Swarovski, a leading designer and manufacturer of fashion jewelry and crystal figurines, celebrated the opening of their new retail outlet at Foxwoods Resort Casino yesterday. Attendees were served complimentary champagne and chocolate during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new store offered gifts with purchases and chances to win jewelry and other Swarovski items.
Swarovski is an Austrian company founded in 1895 which makes precision-cut crystal for fashion, jewelry, ornamental figurines and, more recently, lighting, architecture and interiors. The company has some 26,000 employees and a presence in 120 countries.
