David Lotton is an esteemed glass artist whose distinctive and beautiful works are admired by art glass collectors around the world. David taught himself glassblowing at an early age and he quickly displayed a rare talent for the medium. In 1978 he founded David Lotton Glass Designs where he currently specializes in producing paperweights, vases, sculptures, and pendants. He especially favors incorporating nature themes into his works and his floral patterns are recognized and renowned worldwide.
David currently works with his son, Jeremiah Lotton, a noted glass artist in his own right. Both artists prefer to utilize traditional glassmaking techniques which date back to the Old World. Works from the David Lotton Glass Designs studio have been displayed in numerous galleries and museums worldwide.
David is the son of the famed glass artist Charles Lotton, the founder of Lotton Art Glass.
