For the first time in 35 years, the People’s Choice Awards will present a new trophy to the popular show’s winners. In keeping with the spirit of the show, fans have an opportunity to select their favorite design. By visiting www.peopleschoice.com by Oct. 26, fans can choose from three designs created by the craftsman of Waterford Crystal. Those who register before they vote will have a chance to win a trip to this year’s awards show on Jan. 6, 2010.
The winning Waterford Crystal design will be announced along with fans’ nominee choices in music, movies and television at the People’s Choice Awards press conference on Nov. 10 in Los Angeles.
This is the first year of the People’s Choice Awards partnership with Waterford Crystal. Each 14-inch high trophy will be crafted in Ireland from hand-cut crystal. In addition, Waterford will present each nominee with champagne flutes to toast their nomination.
