John Kiley Named Director of Glass Programs at Schack Art Center

John Kiley, who previously worked under Dale Chihuly and who is currently working as part of noted glass artist Lino Tagliapietra’s team, was recently named the future director of glass programs at the Schack Art Center which is slated to open in late 2010. The arts center will be located in downtown Everett, Washington which is about a half hour north of Seattle. The future arts center will include a full hot shop, warm shop, and cold shop, as well as demonstration areas for glass artists to demonstrate their glassmaking processes. John Kiley will oversee the glass facility’s construction and will direct its activities when building is complete.
