The Wisconsin Department of Commerce recognized the best downtown revitalization projects of 2009 at the 20th Annual Wisconsin Main Street Awards on April 23, 2010 at CircusWorldMuseum in Baraboo.
Among the award winners was one of our favorite pottery makers here at The Prudent Collector. We’re proud to announce that Ephraim Pottery received the Best Adaptive Reuse Project award.
Commerce Secretary Aaron Olver had this to say, “We are excited to commemorate our 20th Annual Awards at a great historic site, such as CircusWorldMuseum. Historic Preservation is one of the foundational elements of Main Street. Tonight we celebrate the great restorations of historic buildings, the best events and the incredible volunteers and board members who make them happen every day.”
